City of Bristol

City of Bristol is a small, but growing city in the South West of England. It is situated on the River Avon and has a population of around 80,000 people. The city itself was founded by the Romans in about 50AD and it became an important trading port for many years. It was also home to one of the first universities in Europe – University College Bristol (UoB). Today, it’s still a thriving place with plenty going on! University of Bristol is a public research university located in the city of Bristol, England. It was founded in 1876 and has been ranked among the top universities in Europe since 2005. The University of Bristol offers courses at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels to approximately 17,000 students from over 150 countries around the world.
